In Union Strong, Success is Sure!
Monrovia College - 2008 Reunion!
Fellow monkeys, today we face more challenges than ever before in our organization. These challenges could not have come at a worse time than this in the history of the United States of America. As an organization that relies on the good will of its member and public patronage, the economic conditions in the country has made it more difficult to get money from donors, and few of our members have really had the economic pinch. Beside, at the top of our leadership, we have been faced with the unfortunate demise of our mother, which also came along with some huge economic burden. Despite these trying times, loyal we shall ever be!
Our continued sacrifice during these times will not go unappreciated, they will surely go down in the annals of history that we never waiver, we never failed under the pressures and we did what we had to do for those that needed it most. We also did it for ourselves. The economic times are harder for them than it is with us. There should be a boundary of Love established here, so that what goes around comes around. Today it may be them, tomorrow we might be in need in a different way, but no matter what way the need appears to show itself, we must fit it within the boundary, and engulf it with love. We shall continue to reach out afar to fetch those that hold Monrovia College nearest at heart and connect them. In union strong, success is sure.
My recent experience in Monrovia has taught me some great lessons about love and caring for those who cannot do it for themselves. The experiences were so deep that they cannot not be transposed into words for me to explained to you, but rest assure that your work here with MCAAA is well appreciated, by the students and they look forward for more support from you.
As we come to Texas, let us not reflect only on the festivities, and the fundraising, let us start to mend the road for those who will take over after we leave. There is much work to be done, and recruitment is the key to our continuous survival. Let us go out with the message that we have to unite, bring members in and create room for them to stay and be happy to give to a worthy cause.
Welcome to Texas 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
